Selection Process : SSC CHSL 2025
The SSC CHSL 2025 selection process consists of two tiers Tier-I & Tier-II

The Tier-I Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set in English, Hindi and any language opted by the candidate in the application form, as given at Annexure-XVI , except (I) English Language (Basic Knowledge).
There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
Scheme of Tier-II Examination
👉Tier-II will be conducted in two sessions:- Session-I & Session-II, on same day.
👉Session-I will include conducting of Section-I, Section-II and Section-III.
👉Session-II will include conducting of Section-IV.
👉After the completion of Session-I, the candidates will get a break for reregistration for Session-II.
👉 Session-II will include conducting of Section-IV i.e. Skill Test/Typing Test.
👉 It will be mandatory for the candidates to qualify all the sections of Tier-II.

There will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II and Section-III of Paper-I and of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-II.

Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-II Examination on the basis of their performance in Tier-I Examination. Normalized scores of candidates will be used to determine merit and for final selection.
Application Fees
Fee payable is Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
Fee can be paid online only through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Master, Maestro Card, or by RuPay Credit or Debit Card.
The women candidates and the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and the Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Online fee can be paid by candidates up to 19-07-2025 (23:00 hours).
The Commission will levy a uniform charge of ₹ 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) for making
correction and re-submitting the modified/corrected application for the first time, and thereafter,
₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for making the correction and re-submitting the modified/
corrected application for the second time.
