Selection Process : Hindi Translator 2025
The examination will consist of twopapers. Details of these papers are as follows:

There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I. Candidates
are, therefore, advised to keep thisin mind while answering the Question.
Minimum qualifying marks in Computer Based Examination are as follows:

Based on the marks scored in the Paper-I; i.e., Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-II (Descriptive Paper). |
Based on the performance in Paper-I & Paper-II, candidates will be considered for final selection. There will be separate category wise cut offs in Paper-I & Paper-II |
Final selection and allocation of Ministry/ Department/Organization will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper-I & Paper-II and the preference of Post(s)/Department(s) exercised by them. |
Application Fees
Fee payable is Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
Fee can be paid online only through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Master, Maestro Card, or by RuPay Credit or Debit Card.
The women candidates and the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and the Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to 27.06.2025 (Up to 2300 Hrs.).
The Commission will levy a uniform charge of ₹ 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) for making
correction and re-submitting the modified/corrected application for the first time, and thereafter,
₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for making the correction and re-submitting the modified/
corrected application for the second time (01.07.2025 to 02.07.2025 (23:00 hours))
How to Apply
The candidates will have to apply for each category of post separately and also pay fee for
each category of post.
The applications must be submitted only in online mode either at the website of SSC(HQ) (https://ssc.gov.in) or through mySSC mobile application (which can be downloaded from
Google Play Store).
The Last date for submission of online applications is 26-06-2025 (Up to 2300 Hrs.).
