Selection Process : SSC CGL 2025
The SSC CGL 2025 selection process consists of two tiers Tier-I & Tier-II

Tier-I will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English Comprehension.
There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
Scheme of Tier-II Examination
Tier-II will include consist of Paper-I & Paper-II in separate shift(s)/ day(s).
Paper I Exam Pattern
Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts.
Paper-II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and Statistical Investigator Grade-II in the office of Registrar General of India (M/o Home Affairs).

Based on the marks scored in Tier-I i.e. Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Tier-II Examination.
Separate cut-offs will be fixed for the post of Junior Statistical Officer and Statistical Investigator Grade-II for appearing in Paper-I & Paper-II of Tier-II and for all other posts for appearing in Paper-I of Tier-II.
Application Fees
Fee payable is Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
Fee can be paid online only through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Master, Maestro Card, or by RuPay Credit or Debit Card.
The women candidates and the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and the Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to 05-07-2025 (23:00).
The Commission will levy a uniform charge of ₹ 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) for making
correction and re-submitting the modified/corrected application for the first time, and thereafter,
₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for making the correction and re-submitting the modified/
corrected application for the second time.
