Job Profile & Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Data Protection Officer (ADPO) will assist the Data Protection Officer in:
- Ensuring compliance with Data Privacy & Protection Laws of India and abroad.
- Developing and implementing SBI’s Data Protection Policy & Procedures.
- Conducting Data Protection Audits & remediating deficiencies.
- Advising on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
- Submitting Data Privacy reports to top management/Board.
- Reviewing processing operations, data inflow, and data security frameworks.
- Training staff on data protection awareness.
- Handling data subject requests & managing data breaches.
- Coordinating with Legal, IT, and InfoSec teams for privacy compliance.
