Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has announced recruitment for two purely temporary Research Associate positions at the IndianOil R&D Centre, Faridabad, under the Mission Innovation (MI) research project funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The project focuses on developing green chemicals from 2G lignin to improve biorefinery sustainability.
These positions are offered on a contractual basis and are co-terminus with the project. Eligible candidates with Ph.D. qualifications in relevant disciplines are invited to apply before 30th August 2025.

Background and experience in biological conversion of lignin into high value products through Microbial Fermentation, Microbial Bioprocessing will be preferred. 2) Research Associate (RA- III) (1 no): Qualification: Ph.D. in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/In-organic Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Physical Chemistry. Background and experience in Chemical catalysis of lignin to produce biofuels, biochemicals, bioproducts and energy research will be preferred. |
