Application Fees

| Candidates belonging to GEN/EWS/OBC (NCL) category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1000/- + GST, i.e Rs. 1180/-. |
| SC/ST/PwBD/ESM candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. |
Selection Process
| Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria and whose online applications have been accepted will be provisionally shortlisted for the computer based test. |
| The minimum qualifying marks is 35% for General/OBC/EWS candidates and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in both computer based test and interview separately. |
| Based on the performance in the computer based test, candidates will be provisionally shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:5. |
| Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in both the computer based test and interview. The weightage for Computer based test is 85 marks and interview is 15 marks. |
| Please note that call letters will not be sent separately through e-mail or through conventional mail. |
| Candidates are required to log on to the BEL website and enter their credentials to access and download their computer based test call letter. |
How to Apply BEL Recruitment?
The computer based test is for a duration of 120 minutes comprising of 125 Questions (100 Technical Questions and 25 General Aptitude and Reasoning Questions).
Each question will carry 1 mark and there will be negative marking for wrong answers;1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
No marks will be awarded for unattempted / marked for review questions. The question paper will be in bilingual i.e., English and Hindi only.
