1. India Wins the Asia Cup 2025 (Dubai, Sept. 28)
India won its ninth Asia Cup after defeating Pakistan by 5 wickets:

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is responsible for organizing the Asia Cup, which was established in 1984. 2. GST Rate Cuts 2025: What’s More Expensive and What’s Less Expensive?

3. Educate Girls NGO (India) — Ramon Magsaysay Award 2025
Overview of the Award: • The first Indian organization to receive the Ramon Magsaysay Award, Asia’s version of the Nobel Prize, was the non-governmental organization Educate Girls, situated in Rajasthan.

1. Andhra Pradesh
- An investment plan worth ₹3,400 crore was revealed: Tirupati Space City, which is supported by ISRO and focuses on space research, satellite manufacturing, and startups, has been given ₹400 crore. ₹3,000 crore for Madakasira’s Defense Industrial Hubs, which will promote independence in defense production.
- Tirumala saw the opening of the AI Command Center: CM Chandrababu Naidu introduced the first-ever AI-based pilgrim management system. It uses AI dashboards to track crowds, darshan times, and emergency response in real time. An illustration of the integration of AI governance in temple towns and tourism.
2. Arunachal Pradesh
- ₹5,100 crore worth of projects were inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi, including: o Hydropower projects for clean energy supply.

3. Assam

- The NH-139W Project, worth ₹3,822 crore, will cut the 2.5-hour journey from Patna to Bettiah to just one hour.
- ₹2,192 crore Bakhtiyarpur–Rajgir–Tilaiya railway doubling project: 104 km segment, 26 MTPA capacity, linking Rajgir and Nalanda.

- The PM opened Purnia Airport and ₹36,000 crore projects (river-linking and thermal power).
