⚠️ Notes on Age Relaxation
- ✅ Relaxation only applicable where posts are reserved for that category (e.g., BC-A/BC-B/EWS/PwBD).
- 🚫 Upper age limit cannot exceed 52 years, except for ex-servicemen as mentioned.
- 📄 Experience-based age relaxation requires valid certificate from the appointing authority of the Haryana Govt. department/board/institution.
Mode of Examination & Shortlisting Criteria (HPSC)
In case of a large number of applicants, the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) may shortlist candidates for interview using one or more of the following methods:
🔹 Shortlisting Methods:
- Percentage of Marks in minimum educational qualification
- Weighted Marks across different qualifications
- Desirable Qualifications (if mentioned in the notification)
- Higher Educational Qualification than required
- More Relevant Experience than minimum prescribed
- Experience Counted before/after acquiring essential qualification
- Screening Test and/or Subject Knowledge Test
📌 Candidates must mention all qualifications and experience beyond the minimum, to maximize chances of shortlisting.
Important Exam Guidelines:

| OMR-based Test | If screening is OMR-based, candidate must correctly fill Name, Roll No., and Booklet Series on the sheet. |
| No Manual Checking | OMR sheets will not be manually checked. Mistakes in filling OMR will lead to automatic rejection. |
| No Re-checking/Re-evaluation | Neither OMR nor Subject Knowledge Test answer sheets will be rechecked or re-evaluated under any circumstance. |
| Commission’s Decision is Final | HPSC may choose to conduct:– Only Subject Knowledge Test or– Both Screening Test + Subject TestDecision is final and binding on all candidates. |
